Product Description

1. Working principle

Belt-driven Roots pump consists of pump body, pump cover, shaft, gear, rotor, packing, gland and other components. The pump has two forms of belt drive and gear reducer drive, which can be reversed. The two ends of the shaft are equipped with skeleton oil-resistant seals, and an oil return device is installed in the middle to prevent air intake or oil leakage.

The belt-driven Roots pump mainly uses two intermeshing rotors to continuously centrifugally squeeze and spiral discharge the gas, thereby achieving the extraction and discharge of the gas. The two rotors rotate through a belt drive and are not in direct contact. In the vacuum pump housing, the two rotors are installed in the same plane and rotate in the same direction around their respective fixed axes. When the rotor rotates, their gear meshes separate from each other, so that the two chambers are in contact with the gas inlet and outlet, and then the gas is sucked in and discharged from the suction port.

2. Structural characteristics

Belt drive: Power is transmitted through the belt, which has the characteristics of simple maintenance and is suitable for long-distance driving.

Rotor structure: There are two intermeshing rotors inside the Roots pump. These rotors do not come into direct contact during rotation, thus reducing the possibility of wear and failure.

Pump body material: The pump body is usually made of materials with stable performance such as stainless steel to adapt to the transportation needs of corrosive media.

Sealing performance: The belt-driven Roots pump has excellent sealing performance, which can prevent gas leakage and confirm the operation of the pump.

3. Performance

Low rotational speed and large flow rate: The belt-driven Roots pump has a low rotational speed and large flow rate, and is suitable for occasions requiring large flow transmission.

Low power consumption: Due to the belt drive method, the pump consumes less power during operation, which helps to reduce energy consumption and operating costs.

Good self-priming ability: The belt-driven Roots pump has strong self-priming ability and can achieve the self-priming function without the need for additional oil priming devices.

Easy to use: The pump has a simple structure, is easy to operate, and is easy to maintain and maintain.

4. Application industries

Belt-driven Roots pumps are used in situations that require vacuum pumping and vacuum transportation, such as machinery, electricity, electronics, chemical industry, medicine, food and other industries. Specific application industries include:

Chemical industry: used to transport corrosive liquids and chemical media.

Petroleum industry: used for liquid medium transportation in the process of oil extraction, refining and transportation.

Food industry: used for liquid transportation and vacuum packaging in food processing.

Pharmaceutical industry: used for liquid medium transportation and vacuum drying in the pharmaceutical industry.
