The LCX high-viscosity Roots pump is modified based on the LC-type pump for transporting high-viscosity media such as asphalt and condensate oil. It adds an insulation layer to the outer surface of the pump casing or end cover, and uses steam or thermal oil circulation to insulate the working chamber of the pump, thereby confirming the stability and effectiveness of the pump during continuous and intermittent operation. 2. Working principle and application of LCX high viscosity Roots pump

The working principle of the LCX high-viscosity Roots pump is similar to that of a Roots blower. Two "8"-shaped rotors installed vertically with each other rotate synchronously and reversely in the pump chamber to achieve the suction and discharge of the medium. Since there is no compression and expansion process in the pump chamber, the LCX high-viscosity Roots pump is particularly suitable for transporting high-viscosity, volatile, flammable and explosive media.
